Norman is Improvement Manager for Learning Disabilities, Partnerships and Development at NHS Leeds commencing in January 2008.
With 30 years of health service experience, Norman has worked in a variety of settings
including in-patient assessment and treatment, and community services for people
with learning disabilities.
Norman has developed and led community service provision to support the closure of a long stay hospital for learning disabled people, including the development of a community team to support the safe discharge of learning disabled people form in-patient care. He has in also previously developed and led aggression management training for a community and mental health trust.
His current role includes partnership working with primary and secondary health care services to improve access to services for learning disabled people.
